Our photos of the memorial honoring Banko Brown, the young trans African American male who was shot by security at Walgreens on Market Street after being accused of shoplifting. Despite video showing he was unarmed and leaving the store before being gunned down, local officials (namely the Mayor and District Attorney) refused to press charges until the San Francisco Board of Supervisors demanded action.
