On Friday, November 2nd, the Colectivo Del Rescate Cultural held the 36th annual Day of the Dead Procession in the San Francisco Mission District.
Celebrating the "Dia de los Muertos", participants honor loved ones who have passed on in the preceding months or years.
As usual, Mission residents emphasized to “newbie’s” to the festival that "Dia de los Muertos "was “not an excuse to get drunk and party in the streets like Halloween” but was a respectful event to honored those who have passed on.
