ESPN Monday Night Countdown Football Comes To Oakland

Updated: Jun 18

To celebrate the return of former ESPN commentator Jon Gruden return to head coaching, ESPN brought its world famous ESPN Monday Night Countdown crew to Oakland.

Taking over Jack London Square, ESPN broadcasted live for hours with former Oakland Raider Charles Woodson leading the Raider fans with chants and fun.

With the Oakland Raiders leaving Oakland, most likely at the end of this season, this was most likely the last time Monday Night Football would be played in Oakland.

However, with the thrashing the Raiders would get later that evening, most Oakland residents didn't seem to mind that the end was near for Oakland football.
