#Oakland celebrated a unique Saturday afternoon the weekend of July 28-29 with three major outdoor festivals; Oakland #ArtandSoul rocking the Oakland downtown for its 18th year, Fresh Jamz blasting out cool non-stop tune by Lake Merritt, and the lovable bike festival Pedalfest assuming families in the Jack London Square area.
Somehow we managed to attend all three festivals the Saturday of the 28th.
#FreshJamz has become an Oakland social staple for those seeking a cool vibe with non-stop dancing. Starting over 10 years ago, the Fresh Jamz crew has operated some of the coolest Happy Hour DJ social events in Oakland.
Once a year, the crew brings their non-stop energy to #LakeMerritt in Oakland.
And, despite the numerous challenges of dealing with the city of Oakland, they have always managed to put on a fun, family friendly event by the lake.
