Photos from the "sacking" of the city of #SanLeandro by thousands of well-organized smash and grab units during the opening weekend of the George Floyd protests in the #Oakland #SanFrancisco Bay Area.
While local police was preoccupied with protestors in Oakland and SF, a massive group of thieves drove around the Bay Area and hit numerous malls, shopping centers, and car dealerships.
Although the media stated these individuals were looters attached to the Black Lives Matter protests. It should be noted that none of these robberies took place in areas that had an active protest taking place.
